No,
our quad-city location is not next to the ocean, but we are adjacent
to one of the largest and most beautiful man-made lakes in the
world.
And the light house? Oh yeah, it's there!
Our
annual Beach Blast is held every June at Rocky Point on West Point
Lake. From events, to music, to food, and boating, to playing
in the sand, to contests, to canoeing, to catching some rays, to
swimming.... Beach Blast is quite a Blast!
This
year's feature entertainment will be Billy Scott and the
Prophets. The South Carolina based band will perform from 7
till 9 PM.
Mark
your calendar for June 18th, then invite your friends and gather the
kids. This is a day of entertainment for the whole
family.
Directions:
From I-85, take Exit 79. Turn north on Hwy. 29 toward West Point, Georgia. In downtown West Point, hwy 29 will turn
right. Do not turn right, but rather continue
straight. Once out of town, this will turn into Stateline
Road. Continue on for about eight miles. The road will
dead end. Turn right and go to the end of the road. That
is Rocky Point. You'll see plenty of signs along the way.
